Finding ways to adapt to the new normal

As we learn to adapt to our new normal for a while, below are some links to help you through this difficult time. Use these to find new ways to make use of this valuable time and try some new things.

First of all, please heed the advice of medical experts and social distance yourself.

PHYSICAL FOCUS

With some of your free time, you can do this 9 minute HIIT workout to stay active.  If you are able to get out into nature while social distancing yourself, do so.

MENTAL FOCUS

Here is a great podcast I listened to this morning where Jesse Israel gave a great talk, conducting a 10-minute meditation on mindfulness and its importance.  It was like a TED talk with a small interview threw in by Oprah.  Well done.

PRODUCTIVITY FOCUS

And if you are looking for ways to be productive while you are at home, read the below article from Thrive Global.

FINDING SOME HAPPINESS

And finally, Yale is offering its most popular class for free online:  The Science of Happiness.

These are just a few I found interesting and helpful in keeping me balanced and productive every day.
