The skills this course offers are not available anywhere else because we teach more than just the laser-focused method. There are many forms of coaching used by the coaching profession and by leaders in organizations. Action plan coaching is generally what new coaches are practicing and helps provide support and accountability for simple habit change goals. Transformational coaching is much more complex and requires a deep understanding of the human psyche and the unconscious patterns that often drive surface behaviors and outcomes, which come from many years of advanced study and practice.


Laser coaching is a different approach from either of the practices mentioned above in some fundamental ways. Experienced practitioners are often attracted to this method because it gets to the heart of the matter faster. For this reason, it can be beneficial for busy people leaders too. This course is for busy HR leaders, business and executive coaches, talent development professionals, and change agents who want to be part of building a laser-focused coaching culture that is more agile, open, and generative.

We’ve also found that internal organizational leaders are often naturally skilled at learning the laser coaching approach as they can easily reframe mindsets. They’ve learned that coddling sensitivities will lead to corporate politics and drama, so they want a method that keeps people focused on their work. They also know that solving problems for others only leads to dependence, so they see the benefit of staying out of the problem-solving to enable the coachee to advance their internal agility and balance, even in stressful situations.

This course is approved by the International Coach Federation (ICF) for the ACSTH designation and gives you the 60 hours of coach-specific training hours you need to apply for or upgrade your credential through ICF. You must also pass a written exam and practicum. Optional: We have an add-on Mentor Coaching Group that you can attend after completion of this class to satisfy your ICF mentor hour requirement of 10 hours. This includes 7 hours of mentoring as a group, plus three hours of mentoring one on one with our MCC coach, Carol Keith.

We want to make it easy and convenient for people to learn. So we decided to offer this course virtually with no need to travel. You can take it from anywhere. You will go at your own pace through curated expertise and knowledge delivered through engaging videos and reading gleaned from our top master coaches, which will take up about 1.5 hours a week. We will process and deepen the learning during our weekly virtual live discussion calls and try new skills during the weekly practice calls. Both weekly calls are 90 minutes long.

Tilt Science & Methodology (free) suggested before this course. Some knowledge of the Tilt framework and personality profiles helps. If you do not have this, we provide a free assessment and e-learning module in the orientation.

This course is offered in English only, but one of the instructors speaks German, so this may be helpful for some.
